They are not in my life and I am not in theirs. I could care less about the Jehovah's Witnesses! It has been over for years! I have moved on! They can knock but the door will not be opened! I no longer do any kind of research as to what they believe because who cares!

Your comments on this Memorial Bible reference (1 Cor. 11:26)
by OnTheWayOut in(1 corinthians 11:26) for as often as you eat this loaf and drink this cup, you keep proclaiming the death of the lord, until he arrives.. here's mine.
i was told that i have an earthly hope.
i won't eat from the loaf or drink from the cup, so i won't.

Interesting! because Jehovah's Witness believe that Jesus went back to heaven and he changed back to an angel form, Michael the Arch Angel that he is not a god nor Jesus in heavens. Remember the Watchtower state that most people who believe Jesus is not Michael believe he is Jehovah,Trinity!
So why would they need to partake if Jesus changed back to Michael as soon as he entered the Heavens, and everyone is just waiting for Michael to stand up for his people?
I am confused about this myself! I believe everyone should partake because it has nothing to do with a heavenly or earthly hope but a eternal hope for whoever believes Jesus is the son of God.
Hmm, so why should WTBTS people partake until Jesus return if they believe he is an Angel? So when Michael hits the earth's realm, air, he will change to Jesus again? oh well, just a thought!
Why do they pray in the name of Jesus instead of Michael?

I have a wild theory, no way to support it. Russell experts help out?
by Wasanelder Once ini have often wondered about the time that russell was growing up.
he was a child of the civil war.
when gettysburg was fought he was 11 years old.

Russell's were more wealthy than the Rothchilds! See Charles Tays Russells online, who was Charles Taze Russell's uncle. The haberdashery was owned by his father that does not mean they did not have money. Also, the Russells are link with skull and bones and the Russell's Trading Company.

For years the Trinity believers have said that the people who do not believe in Trinity are the Anti-Chirst! The Jehovah's Witness believe that people who believe in Trinity belongs to Satan organization.
Perhaps, you should ask how many people suffer from depression or anxieties due to the guilt trips that organizations have placed on their members?
Because Fear is nothing more than anxieties which is define as:
1. feeling of worry: nervousness or agitation, often about something that is going to happen
2. something that worries somebody: a subject or concern that causes worry
So if any one has done any kind of research, it only takes one time a subject, regarding the Jehovah's Witnesses it will cause worry and anxieties! which nothing more than fear. Also, it really is all about one doctrine! because the Jehovah's Witnesses knows that when a member who walks out of the organization and goes in search for truth that they have been brain washed for years! Minds have been altered to think non-trinitarian way of thinking.

Do you consider your time as a JW wasted time??
by karter inmany of us have devoted a lot of time and energy to the jw's at the expense of other things like education , planing for retirement , family time just to name a few.. i don't consider it all wasted time there was a lot of good i learnt however i'm doing things now as a jw i never would have.. i don't have the same time pressure and never fell guilty about taking a lot of time out for myself as one elder said to me"if we don't keep you brothers real busy in the work of the kingdom you get swallowed up by the world" .

Feb. 1 mass calling campaign. Will you call?
by Shawn10538 ini'm not sure if it was mentiopned.
but i think that we are talking about not just one call from each person, but we are talking about spending a good length of time calling repeatedly.
othrwise it just won't have much of an impact.

Here in the United States people have freedom to worship. I will allow them their rights to freedom to worship without bothering them that includes making rude phone calls. I have the right to get out of any church and move on and find one that I like to attend.
Mentally it is a hard one for true believers of the Jehovah's Witness, but if you are young you will be able to bond somewhere with another church. Perhaps one that is not too harsh and shows Grace instead of Disfellowshipping.
I think the best slap in the face to a religion like the Jehovah's Witnesses is find some sort of happiness with another sect! other wise they win, they are right, and they still have control over you! Granted you will always struggle with another churches doctrines, but you will also gain re-placed people in your life.
It is time to move on.

Judge Rutherford, Jehovah's Communication Channel
by VM44 in"receiving the gift, the marching children clasped it to them, not a toy or plaything for idle pleasure, but the lord's provided instrument for most effective work in the remaining months before armageddon.
" (the watchtower, 9/15/41, page 288.
this quote from the watchtower concerns the release of judge rutherford's book children in 1941.. now, calling the book "the lord's provided instrument" sounds to me to be saying the book was inspired, just like the books in the bible.. apparently at that time, the jws considered judge rutherford as their direct communication channel with jehovah himself!.

I had another thought on Channeling. First the Jehovah's Witness claim they do not believe that people can communicate with the dead or angels, yet the people prior to 1930 were Jehovah's chosen 144,000 who died and went to heaven. Some died went to heaven to channel, light getting brighter, to the remaining living 144,000 according to the Revelations It Grand Climaxs Is At Hand. Also while they were alive they spoke in tongues but that was stopped because it was not needed any more in the book Riches.
So if they spoke in tongues prior to 1930s,food given at due time, then went to heaven, Russel class, and now are Channeling new light to the living 8,800 anointed class. What form are the 144,000 while they are in heavens? Did they not teach people that they were to take the places of the fallen angels? yet they do not believe in communcating with angels or the dead! Were we t told that speaking to the dead was part of Satan organizations.
They can not cover up their tracks on that one!

Did Jesus baptize others? Dunk or sprinkle? Words used?
by tula ini am inspired to start this thread because of something i read on another thread.. burn the ships says it doesn't matter if you are baptised by an athiest or an elder, as long as it's done the right way.. so, since every religion has their spin on "the right way".... what concrete example did jesus give in this ritual?.
can any of you find any actual description of jesus dunking someone in water to baptise them?.
all i find is that jesus "baptized" by giving words of instruction.. .

Hmm! you sure do ask good questions. Here my question to you, do you think that the people who baptized others should have some sort of Holy Spirit so others could receive gifts?
Some people were baptized through John the Baptizer and had to be re-baptized during the growth of Christianity after Acts, because they did not recieve Holy Spirit.
I dont think Jesus physically baptized anyone but commanded the 12 apostles to baptize. Also, in Acts the holy spirit came and that what the apostles waited for was the Holy Spirit Jesus sent. Prior to that they were baptized with John the Baptizer. So in some ways Jesus baptized with Holy Spirit because they waited for Jesus to send the Helper!
Do you think that baptism today is done with Holy Spirit poured out on people? That is a hard one to understand! WE can hope that it is but in bibical days people would get baptized and actually recieve Holy Spirit. Do you see this today?
How about if you get baptized from a religion leader who later on you found out was a lie? Would you baptism need to be re done? So when you go to another church and you get baptized again! Later, you learn through scripture they they were teaching false teachings. Now what! where is the holy spirit that was to go from to another?

Hmm! are you reading that book? If I remember right there should be a picture of a little girl sitting on a mans lap! It's really strange.
Also, Judge Rutherford in his Book Riches, proves that during assemblies they use to do what they called utterances. They would stand around people and wait for someone to speak in utterances, tongues. Judge Rutherford said that some of the people would come up with some good stuff that they would continue to use. I guess that would be modern day channeling. By that time Russell was probably up in heaven with some other 144,000 channeling information to the living 144,000.
Now, really why would God use that crazy drunk!
